View MoreThey wouldn't let me run for office I'm a convicted felon a few times over and have a record as long as Route 66. I can't even find a decent job or a house to rent we had to leave my name off the lease and still dont let the land lord know I'm living here. The first house we rented when I got out we were there a month just fine then the neighbor started asking questions and asked if I was so and so and I said yes thats me yes I've been in some trouble yes its all true but I'm not living like that anymore . The next day they caused a big scene and moved out and the landlord kicked us out for causing them to leave ......makes it hard to have a whole bunch of motivation to do much. I quit school in the second grade I'm no genius but I think I've got a pretty good idea of what the issues are in this country and the patterns of what happens. Ive seen a few minimum wage increases in my 36 years and every single time inflation followed promptly . I remember when gas was .99 a gallon and a burger was .75 gallon of milk 1.50 sodas were .25 for a can in the machine. I'm not that old but its always been the same. I've watched the same few families hand down all the good jobs to family and keep the same exact pecking order going . I've watched my grandpa be shut out by the city on getting permits to expand his business to include truck n trailer washouts and then turn around and okay it for his competitor because they had old money. I've seen enough to know how it goes . You're right I'm uneducated in the way that colleges teach and in the fancy stuff all these lawyers and doctors and scientist know but I'm a holder of a PHD in life as a poor white boy living in a country that hates you and fighting for everything I've ever had. I'm tougher than most and will survive no matter what . An education is great if you have the means to get one unfortunately that wasn't part of gods plan for me . I appreciate the attempt at helping me see my lack of understanding of the financial system and the intelligence to grasp it but I'm proud white trash and I'm proud of my Grandad and all he did to make a decent life for us and he was white trash to the bone . I don't know that i'd want to be anything else honestly .
