Not all trees grow that way. I have grown grape vines that way but it has to be done in winter when they are dormant and better to put some rooting hormone powder and plant in a good quality compost directly without putting in water.

Not necessarily true. I just did it with apple and grape. The trick is to keep them in the dark so the leaves dont grow from the sun. All its energy will go into roots. I never use root hormones either. Another side note is that aloevera is a good rooting hormone.

Very nice. I would also add that filling the holes a little with Epson Salt or a couple other things to use the holes.

If your NOT on a water well: To clean your tub drain out. Simply pour about 1 cup of bleach down the drain and wait 4 hours. Most all drain clogs in tubs are due to hair. Your welcome
DeAnna
Can't do this on a septic system. = / I use vinegar and baking soda on my drains. = )

I get those occasionally, natural fix is a bacteria spray called thuricide.

I also grow cucumbers in a pot with a trellis I can pull a bug cloth around every night to stop the moths from laying their eggs on them. fresh cucs are worth it tho.

I've used a number of different brands and all worked. I usually buy it at Home Depot. mix with water in a 2 gallon sprayer...

keep the container out of the heat though as heat kills the thuricide bacteria.

Diatomaceous Earth Powder works for me with any pest invasion (Not the two-legged kind). It does take 'em all out, bad ones and good ones. That's excellent info. on the bacteria defense!

i mix borax and sugar in some water and then let is dry. scrape the residue for a useful any and roach killer. Borax is not harmful to pets though the sugar isn't good for them.
