Sid Haig of the horror movie 1,000 Corpses dies at 80
The news was shared on Monday by his wife Suzie. She explained that he had died on Saturday evening. According to his Instagram account, he suffered an accident at home and had been on the mend.

I don't disagree, but I can separate the artist from the art. The horror genre was fucking dead until Rob Zombie and his cast of misfits revived it. You'll notice I paid my respects to Captain Spaulding, not ((( Sid Haig ))).
